The Boy in the Golden Boat 1

I created a series of 3 paintings on this theme of a Boy in a Golden Boat. It was an image my mind created. The Golden Boat is the vessel that takes him through life. The sea holds the ups and downs, challenges and obstacles of life. The gold boat contrasts with the blue sea and dark starry night.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive.
