This painting depicts my impression of life from my house on a Thursday morning. I show the early morning commuters, cyclist and walkers going to work or the park. The bins are out. I painted it in my naive style and it is a bright and happy painting showing a moment of everyday life in Perth.
I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy creating them.
