Boathouse Orchids

'Boathouse Orchids' was inspired by the beautiful flowers always on display down at the Boathouse on Shelly beach in Sydney. I love going in there for the flowers alone! The painting is thick and heavily textured, and the free and wild strokes of the palette knife are visible.
