Long Repose

This painting was created using fluid acrylic paints and inks, pouring medium and heavy impasto medium. The background is a dramatic mix of soft blues and sunset pinks that contrast with deep turquoise, navy blue and metallic gold. The metallic gold is highly reflective and gleams when it catches the light. The suggestion of a nude woman is painted in heavily textured inky blue/black.
