"Selkie Ashore" was created using fluid acrylic paints, pouring medium and thick textured impasto medium. In the background the pinks, neutrals, terracotta and grey blend organically while the deep blue and metallic gold contrasts. The gold is highly reflective and gleams when it catches the light. The stencilled suggestion of a nude female figure is painted in heavily textured inky blue/black.
