This work explores the layering of identity through the language of photography itself. A formal portrait of a young man is partially obscured by geometric bands and tonal blocks, interrupting the image as if different visual systems are competing for space. The composition draws inspiration from both early photographic processes and modernist abstraction—where structure, rhythm, and surface become as important as the subject.
