The images were taken on a bright mid Summer afternoon at Mills beach, Mornington. Smaller 25x12cm works were completed in my studio. Thereafter these were expanded to the 0.9mx0.9m format. My approach is tonal realism, taking care with rich colour and shadows. The frame is a timber box frame approx 1cm width with ash colouring.
