Tonal realist impressionist still life of bright deep red pomegranates suspended over a glass vase against a light green oriental ginger jar. Would suit a dining/lounge area with points of focus to return to. Contained in 2cm boxed black timber frame (4cm deep).

Ray enjoys tonal impressionist oil painting, the study of light, in the tradition of early Australian artists (Meldrum et al). He challenges himself to keeping it simple and painterly.
Ray is a fellow and signatory member of the Victorian Artists Society and his works appear in collections in Victoria, interstate and internationally. He has also won numerous awards.
