Emotions is a series that is inspired by a documentary which shows the Museum restoration process of Mattises famous Swimming Pool Piece.
Using layers of hand painted paper to create the portrait, the cut outs create movement and allows the work to appear Three Dimensional as if the portrait is coming forth, leaping to its viewer.
Although Blue sometimes brings emotions of sadness, Blue calls to mind feelings of calmness or serenity. This series was created to allow feelings of peaceful tranquility to its viewers.

Wing's style is reminiscent of Picasso and Matisse. Her Fauvist-inspired drawings have become something of a sensation; popping up everywhere in galleries and online circles worldwide.
