Life After Death

This painting represents the life an object - such as a skull - can have after the animal has left this earth. Cacti are also well known for being hardy plants, but are very hard and rare to flower, depending on the type. However, there are many cacti out there in nurseries which have fake flowers glued on. In this artwork I have made as many cacti bloom, something that is a rare sight in so many of the species.

Besides painting in my studio I also paint outside at weddings and charity events where I paint the scene in front of me for the bride/groom/recipient. My paintings can be found overseas in countries such as Chile, Canada, US and the UK. I think what I enjoy most about my art is I paint what I want. I've been experimenting with styles for years and really enjoy having a diverse collection of work.
Paintings are packaged in tissue paper, bubble wrap, recycled cardboard boxes and brown paper.
