The Good Old Days

This artwork tries to depict the infamous mountain "Lion Rock" in Hong Kong, with an airplane taking off amid skyscrapers in the city. This was an astonishing scene as much as a challenge to pilots' skill.
However, with Kai Tak Airport demolished, this jaw-dropping scene forever disappears, which might be the best analogy for what is happening in Hong Kong.

I am self taught in painting and started this hobby in 2020. Almost instantly it became my obsession which I always spend whole day working on the canvas. I find myself interested in all kinds of media, which is surprising to me because at the beginning I think acrylic would be the only medium YI can use.
