Home brew in a cheap green bottle that I picked up outside a restaurant; rather than thick brown glass with a deep punt. There is no fancy label on my home brew, just a wet chalk scribble... very pragmatic. The cork is a conglomerate rather than fine imported cork. The cork screw is one one that the McWilliams reps used to hand out to restaurants. I picked mine up in my first job as a "wine waiter" at the now defunct "Baxters Seafood Restaurant" in Sandgate Brisbane. The screw is a bit twisted now but still does the job. Should I have chosen a laguiole or a Colt 45 worth over $1000.00? The glass is a pub glass rather than a Zalto or Riedel. With unmatched cheese and biscuits.

It might not reflect the finer things in life but I still enjoyed the wine and the making of the painting. How much sophistication does it require? Some days absolutely none as long as you enjoy it!
