I noticed that people are drawn to red poppies, probably because they are a bright and cheery flower. So I thought I would give them a go. I don’t usually paint flowers but felt the urge as I love to get my tube of luscious red paint out every now and then. (I have painted red boots, red tulips, red roses, red swimsuited woman, red robin, red dress, notice a trend here? 😂) This painting depicts wild poppies in the field. So if you want a pop of red on your wall to brighten up a room, here it is!
