I took a reference photo last year near my hairdresser at Highfields north of Toowoomba. There is a shopping area beside the highway that is called Jacaranda Manor with a grassed courtyard at the back ringed by jacarandas. Now it houses a coffee shop, hairdresser and various health studios. As I love to paint jacarandas I kept this reference photo until I had the urge to get my purple paint out.
