Artwork Description

I live in Castlemaine in Victoria. A few weeks back, the town just above Castlemaine, Harcourt, lost 50+ structures in a bushfire. Houses, sheds, cool stores. Memories and efforts of a lifetime gone in minutes. Ash and cinders remaining. The element that keeps us warm in Winter and cooks our food has always been hard to control. Particularly in Australian Summers. Particularly as the Planet WARMS !!!

A year spent travelling in Europe. 2017.....Set up The Left Bank Studio/Gallery in Castlemaine, Victoria. One person shows, 2019 and 2022. Sellout Show in 2024.
