This came through the door yesterday. Reminiscent of Four Abandoned Quarries on Mount Alexander. After my Fennec Fox franchise, I simplified and forced myself to STOP.

A summary of the painting. Postmortem. From the top, there are two bands of Ultra, without the marine. This is my land. Titanium white, to emphasise the board. Three vapid bands of wash, breaking the coloured watercolour crayons. The scribbles that define and run, three distinct colours, black, red and green. That I had to combine at the bottom because yellow was disappearing, and even the base of a painting deserves solidity. Two distinct bands, one left....vertical, one right....oblique. Naming the rights to this peccadillo. What can I say ?
