Artwork Description

Asian landscapes are sublime. A mix of rugged cliffs and misting fog. In Japan there will generally be a Geisha. Somewhere. In this painting, I am contrasting the peacefulness of the landscape, with crashing planes, a disturbance in the Lake and a plaintive cry from the Geisha. Reminding us of the absurdity of the situation.
