I’ve always been ambivalent about painting landscapes. It’s a bit like........I can’t think of anything else to paint. But then again, it does surround us. The question becomes, how many sheep do I put in ? Or gum trees ? Or swaggies ! So my point of difference comes with the delicacy of Japanese and Chinese landscapes. Wisps of colour nuanced into the painting. Sometimes your mind is left to fill the gaps.
This painting comes with an external frame. Archivally framed using Museum quality rag mat board, UV acrylic and Mountain Ash frame with Natural Wax finish.
