Combine art with humour and you are left with humorous art. The notion of a bought gesture is symbolic when placed in the context of 21st Century art. Why not ? Everything else is for sale. Throw into the title, salt and vinegar and you have the ultimate take away shop. Note the lurking outline of my geisha, Mrs Schultz…….did she order the gestures or has she been the beneficiary of one. Who knows ? History and mystery…………
