Artwork Description

love the word.…..littoral. Literally. It refers to the zone between low and high tides along the coast. It suggests to me, movement, time passing and transition. A changing land and seascape at the mercy of wind and water, currents and washes. Maybe even sultanas? So, this is called…... Red Dirt: Storm across The Littoral. It's where the iron rich soil of The Continent gives way to the sandy beach and I reckon I'm behind one of the sand dunes, in the nude, dancing wildly as the stormwater falls. Then again, might just be inside, staying warm!
As for the fluoro paints, just loving
'em. Because they exaggerate the visuals, and that's what I can do now, when I tell a tale ... I can exaggerate!
