Rosalie Street is an Australian landscape painter whose work is deeply rooted in her connection to the natural world. Through a process of reduction and abstraction, she creates emotive paintings that evoke a sense of calm, stillness, and place. Her semi-abstract works focus on form and colour, offering a contemplative response to the natural world.
Raised in a creative family and guided by her artist mother, Rosalie has been painting since childhood. Her practice has evolved across disciplines, drawing on her background in fashion and theatre design, as well as her ongoing training, to inform her visual language.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design from RMIT and studied theatre design at NIDA. Rosalie is currently completing an undergraduate Certificate in Fine Art through Curtin University.
Rosalie lives and works on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula/ Bunurong Land, where she paints from her home studio surrounded by bushland and sea.
