Artwork Description

Like many artists, I dislike wasting left over paint which led me to I activate a fresh paper sheet with the left over glazes from my previous painting.

I subsequently built up my intuitive base over a number of layers with a limited colour palette , keeping the feel light and fresh.

The movement and shading I development conjured up thoughts of an Australian abstract outback landscape. I quickly decided to add a little bilby’s face, with the look and feel of just peeking, out of his burrow.

For those who may not know, the greater bilby, or simply bilby, is a long-eared, rabbit-like mammal native to Australia. Cute, elusive and an important ecosystem engineer.

I think this light, bright, unique creation would look especially delightful on a child's nursery or bedroom wall.

As Billy requires framing to hang my artwork photos include examples of how this piece could look framed and displayed.

As always, please check dimensions as insitu images for display purposes only and may not be to scale.
