Artwork Description

In 2022 there was a period of time I created a number of different character/personality portraits over a number of my layered intuitive bases.

With this piece I wasn't channeling anyone specific nor was I creating a self portrait but as she developed she looked as naked and raw as I looked and felt during a specific period of time of my life a few years earlier.

I see many emotions when I look into her eyes........surprise, sadness, vulnerability.

I know there are so many of you out there who can relate therefore I decided to list my unique and personal piece. Chemotherapy does suck but this piece of art is more about honouring endurance and acknowledging that you are stronger than you ever thought you were.

As Chemo Sucks requires framing to hang, my artwork photos include examples of how she could look framed and hung.

I paint organically therefore I have not cut back any rough paper edges which can be covered during any framing process or be embraced and left exposed.

Please check dimensions, in situ images are for display purposes only and may not be to scale.
