Crummy Creek - Imaginary Water Landscape, Mixed Media

Started to create a layered intuitive base which quickly brought on thoughts of the Aussie bush, streams, rock pools which then conjured up memories of where my father used to take us kids to paddle during the summer months when we were young.

I continued to develop this piece intuitively, using my imagination, until she morphed into this magical watery wood scene. Obviously my painting is more enchanting than the actual place we used to visit, but as a child my imagination, like many other children's, used to run wild and the world around me was often a magical place.

As Crummy Creek requires framing to hang, my artwork photos include examples of how this whimsical piece could look framed and displayed.

The dimensions of Crummy Creek doesn’t include it’s rough 1cm border which can be trimmed back or covered during your chosen framing process.
