Artwork Description

At the moment I am still engrossed in Intuitive Painting + Trees.

'Dappled Light' and 'Dappled Pink' were created using the same base colours plus a lot of white.
However I used more grey along with a sepia coloured acrylic ink in 'Dappled' light which has created a moodier look and feel than 'Dappled Pink'. The use of a gold coloured glaze in some areas on 'Dappled Light' provides a softening and brightening effect.

During the exercise of painting trees onto my layered intuitive bases, I chose two different tree photos which both reflected windswept trees to work from. The painting process was not to be a slave to the chosen photos, rather create a painting which reflected the essence of the trees.

All stencils and stamps used were designed and created by me.

'Dappled Light' requires faming therefore artwork photos do show how this painting could framed and hung.

My work is organic therefore the dimensions of this painting does include a rough .05cm border which can be covered during your chosen framing method or be embraced and remain on view once framed.

'Dappled Light' and 'Dappled Pink' can be purchased separately or as a set.
