Artwork Description

Spring Confetti is a creative venture into intuitive painting with acrylic inks on yupo paper.

I created my first layer by placing foliage from my backyard over my sheet of yupo paper then I sprinkled, dribbled, sprayed acrylic inks over and around the foliage.

After removing the foliage further intuitive layers of ink applied using different methods of application until my vibrant landscape started to emerge.

I continued to layer applications of ink using different methods until I was satisfied with the vivid surreal landscape that I had developed before I added a little bird (surveying his vibrant surroundings).

This bright and colourful imaginary landscape/garden would add a pop of delightful colour and interest to any space.

The textured layered details have been protected by a layer of fixative spray followed by a layer of spray varnish.

As Spring Confetti requires framing to hang my artwork images includes examples of how this unique creation could look framed and hung.

As always please check artwork dimensions as in situ examples are for display purposes only and may not be to scale.
