This artwork was produced as an illustration for ‘Molly Moores Has A House Like Yours’, published by Little Book Press. The book was commissioned as part of the Raising Literacy Australia Author and Illustrator Mentoring Initiative, supported by the James and Diana Ramsay Foundation.

To create this artwork I initially created a realistic painting of pieces of paper stuck up on my studio wall. I later painted the 'childlike sketches' over the top. To create the sketches I imagined myself as Molly Moores and sketched the magical things she would have seen in her extraordinary house.
