Artwork Description

This is an original oil on canvas painting that depicts the North Atlantic coastline landscape of Maine, New England. The painting has been created using heavy impasto builds with brushes and pallet knives in an impressionistic style. The edges of the painting are covered with archival white linen tape, providing a clean, contemporary look. The artwork does not require framing and is ready to hang. It is signed on the front and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The use of master-quality materials ensures that the painting is of the highest quality. It captures the atmospheric and natural elements of the landscape, including mist, rain, and the tranquility of the cliffs.

Artist Bio

Ruslan Khais is a Philadelphia-based artist working predominantly in the genre of Abstract Landscape.
Not restricting himself to a single style, Khais freely moves into more representational or purely abstract works that, at times, merge into Surrealism. The French Impressionists and artists of the Hudson River School are his main influences and inspiration.
A graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Khais has participated in numerous group shows and solo exhibitions. He's also received awards from the Philadelphia Sketch Club, PAFA Alumni Association, Berks County Art Alliance, Berman Museum, the Vermont Studio Center, and others. His work is also held in several corporate and private collections.
