Red Tailed Black Cockatoo Forest - Extra large Original gouache and watercolour painting on thick textured watercolour paper (Arches).

This extra large statement painting features a pair of my signature cockatoos in a lovely pared back colour palette of black, blues, deep forest greens, with flashes of red.  I love to paint our unique Australian flora and fauna in gouache and watercolour on beautiful thick textured papers. I use calligraphy brushes varying the paint consistency from watery washes to opaque line work - my intention is to create flow and movement within the work.

This large painting would look stunning on the feature wall of our Australian home.
