This extra large original vibrant watercolour painting on textured thick watercolour paper features a pair of cheeky yellow tailed black cockatoos and ornate peonies in varying hues of Ultramarine blue with touches of bright lemon yellow on the cheeks and tails of the cockatoos. I like to paint with Chinese calligraphy brushes and use a limited colour palette. I'm a big fan of peonies and Chinese ornament and you can really see the oriental influences coming through in this painting.

This work is large and highly detailed with very intricate white line work. It would make a beautiful statement to any wall.
