Artwork Description

We know how powerful colour and visualisation is for improving our lives and reminding us of our dreams and desires. Art invites the opportunity to experience those rare moments when you are lifted above the hustle and bustle of daily life, your sense of self fades away and you feel connected to a higher reality.

Each of the Inner World series is a powerful visual anchor, an affirmation, a meditation of that which you desire to create and nurture in your life! We don't always understand that we are the authors of our stories and can change the way we're telling them. At a glance, you are now reminded of that.

Each piece: ignite; transform; refresh; calm; and love, have specific healing colours and harmonious visuals in an elegant silhouette. Infused in each artwork are beautiful touches like shimmering luminescent watercolors. Just like nature has optical surprises in the colours that you see, so does each inner world painting. Each artwork has violet subtly added, the colour with the highest vibration.

Love: was inspired by Cherry Blossoms. The significance of these trees go back hundreds of years in Japanese culture. They represent the fragility and beauty of life. It's a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but that it is also tragically short. The colour magenta is a bright reminder of love in our life, of ourselves and those close to our heart.

Each person will feel something different as they connect with each artwork. Which speaks to your heart, fills your soul and reminds you of the beauty you desire in your life?

Each piece is A3 in size and comes mounted in a framing mat that fits easily into any standard 16 x 20-inch frame.

Artist Bio

I am an artist based in Moreton Bay, QLD, and my work focuses on capturing beauty, harmony, and peace. Using flowing watercolours ,rich oils, and expressive acrylics, I bring a gentle touch to my artworks, blending nature’s serenity with the fluidity and grace of the female form. With a background in fashion and textile design, I have a deep understanding of colour and composition, which shapes my distinct, soulful style.

As a mother, the energy of motherhood has deepened my connection to my art, allowing me to bring even more emotion and authenticity to my work. Homeschooling my children has also taught me the value of patience and observation, enriching my creative process and deepening my appreciation for the quiet moments in life.

Through my art, I seek to inspire others to embrace their inner stillness, femininity, and strength in an often chaotic modern world. My work predominantly explores the connection between the female spirit and nature, uncovering the subtle ways they mirror each other. While I love refining themes of softness, sensuality, and peace, I also find joy in experimenting with colour, texture, and the energy that flows through each piece.

My creative process is intuitive and reflective, often sparked by writing, prose, poetry, and music. These inspirations intertwine with memories of my rural childhood, the calming rhythms of nature, and the stories that colours can tell. Painting is my way of escaping, healing, and sharing beauty with others, allowing the process itself to guide me.

I am continually evolving as an artist, always refining my techniques and exploring new mediums. My dream is to inspire deeper connections between art and the soul, creating pieces that resonate with collectors worldwide. I am grateful for the recognition I have received as a finalist in the Australian Watercolour Muster, and for my portraits being submitted to the Archibald and Brisbane Portrait Prizes. My work is now collected internationally, bringing peace and beauty to homes, salons, and curated spaces.
