Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

I started doing a little bit of bush walking on my own and took this photo at Narawntapu in North West Tasmania. A path winds through dry coastal bush and patches of tall eucalypts and teatree. Wallabies, wombats and snakes are often discovered while walking the soft greyish sandy tracks. This day I was wishing I had someone to share the experience with.

A landscape painting of the Don River with a view from the centre of the river surrounded on both sides with native bush and dry fields. The trees on the left side cast a strong shadow line down the centre of the river. The light shines through the trees onto the old Tramline at Eugenana.A view looking up the gently cascading water of the Don River. There is a strong contrast of light and shadow, with golden highlights on the eastern edge of the river amongst dark shadows cast from the steep hills and native bush.A crochet granny square with 6 rounds of pastel colours on a light grey background.
