Utopia III

This is the third in the 'Utopia' series where I am trying to create a space for all habitat to survive, this painting is focused on waterways like estuaries, ponds, dams and other watery habitats.
I very striking large abstract which will enhance any pace in the popular hues of pink and aqua.
Only quality paints and materials are used and canvas and frame created by the fabulous Southern Buoy

I am a painter, using acrylic paints on stretched canvas. I paint with immediacy and fluidity allowing the emotions and memories to pour on to the canvas. I do not work from photographs or a master plan.

The health of the natural environment is extremely important to me and that is reflected in nearly all of my work. I paint landscapes as hardy, practical places that provide healthy habitats for flora and fauna, not as a pleasant view for humans. My view is that the natural environment does not exist for exploitation on any level. My work is a direct and immediate response to the destruction of the natural environment in the name of ‘progress’.

I am a prolific painter and have sold many works over the past 10 years to local and international buyers.

After previously enjoying beautiful studio space at @southernbuoy and @onshore_studios I am very pleased to announce my new studio is situated in my home at Waterview Drive Mount Martha, Victoria.
