This painting reflects what I see as I traverse my Mornington Peninsula home during the winter months, beautiful greens and flashes of colour. The birdsong and other animals are woven into the design and colours chosen.

All my artworks are sealed and varnished with high quality semi gloss or satin varnish which protects the paint and vibrancy of the colours. Gallery quality stretched canvas on a frame.

Every effort is taken to securely package my artworks and they will arrive in pristine order. The painting will be signed on the front and back and will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

I am a painter, using acrylic paints on stretched canvas. I paint with immediacy and fluidity allowing the emotions and memories to pour on to the canvas. I do not work from photographs or a master plan.

The health of the natural environment is extremely important to me and that is reflected in nearly all of my work. I paint landscapes as hardy, practical places that provide healthy habitats for flora and fauna, not as a pleasant view for humans. My view is that the natural environment does not exist for exploitation on any level. My work is a direct and immediate response to the destruction of the natural environment in the name of ‘progress’.

I am a prolific painter and have sold many works over the past 10 years to local and international buyers.

After previously enjoying beautiful studio space at @southernbuoy and @onshore_studios I am very pleased to announce my new studio is situated in my home at Waterview Drive Mount Martha, Victoria.
