This artwork comes with an external frame

During a hot day I was observing my bamboo fan and was fascinated by the shadow it cast. It seemed impossible to accomplish at the time but I was determined to take up the challenge and incorporate the fan with it's shadow into a still life painting, while also evoking the coolness and serenity it produced.

The painting comes framed in Tasmanian Oak. This is a specially made frame specifically for art boards.
