I purchased this coffee grinder at the Hannover Flee Market in 1990 when I was living in Germany. It has always been a favourite item of mine. I love the folk art painted on it. I painted in situ a few years ago.

Artist Bio
Thank you for reading my profile. I paint Alla Prima, Post Impressionist style paintings inspired by lived experiences such as living on a farm and in suburban Adelaide. I use oils and occasionally acrylics on stretched canvas and am very interested in capturing light and tone. Expressing myself with a loose style, I love using thick paint to create very textured pieces. My main influences are the Impressionists and Post Impressionists such as Cezanne, Van Gough and Picasso. Having lived in Saddleworth near the Clare Valley, Kalgoorlie, W.A., Charters Towers, Queensland, Waikouaiti, New Zealand, Muenster, Germany, and South Australia’s South East, I now live in Adelaide. I have completed workshops at Pepper Street Studios, Burnside Art Group and Campbelltown ArthouseI hope you enjoy viewing my paintings.
