Artwork Description

Two elegant cranes soar silently above a mist-veiled canopy, their wings outstretched as if suspended in time. Beneath them, a forest sleeps — ancient, deep, and still — its quiet presence echoing through the soft hues of the sky. The pale air carries no sound, only the feeling of something remembered: a rhythm of flight, of breath, of life gently passing overhead.

In this painting, nature holds its breath. The cranes, both graceful and purposeful, move not only through space but through memory — as though the forest itself is recalling their journey. The soft light, the subdued palette, and the open sky create a sense of timelessness and calm.

Artist Bio

SeEun works in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges, drawing much of her inspiration from the region’s stunning trees and natural surroundings. Her artwork evolves with the seasons. In summer, she finds herself inspired by seascapes. While in spring, her focus shifts towards the vibrant beauty of blooming flowers. As an abstract artist, SeEun specialises in creating cheerful designs that perfectly complement modern interior decor. While her preferred medium is acrylic paint, she also enjoys experimenting with watercolor.

SeEun was born in South Korea, and on a holiday to Australia fell in love with its landscapes and people. She was also inspired by her uncle, a famous artist in Korea. She is still very proud of her Korean heritage and its long history, often introducing elements of her culture into her artwork to draw attention to the struggles and resilience of the Korean people.
