Things are cooling down as we say good-bye to Summer...fresher mornings and shorter days through Autumn are evolving before we reach those colder temps in Winter.
On the coast it's quite brisk and those southerly breezes more icy. The beaches are quieter, especially early morning as the sun rises at break of day or at dusk as it sets. I love this time of year. The ocean takes on a deep sea green instead of the sapphire blues, and the coastlines are seemingly more rugged and tempest. This little fresh artwork is inspired by the transition of warm balmy days to fresh crisp days that speak of quiet and restoration.
Created on beautiful fine 500 gsm Belgian Linen, I've intentionally left a hint of that gorgeous linen peaking through. It's been satin varnished and comes with your choice of white or a walnut/oak* frame. Personally I prefer the white - it adds to that 'fresh' aesthetic - so this is the default frame to be sent, unless you get in touch and request the oak at time of purchase.
*Oak has been slightly stained to be more like a walnut, and is a warmer complement.
