Begin Again (Framed)

Begin again. Start over. The best thing about a new day is the hope it brings...new opportunities to start over, do things different, make amends...begin again. When life bears down on us it can be hard to see too far ahead. One day at a time - some times one hour or one moment at a time - is how we keep going. It doesn't matter what happened yesterday, today as the sun rises, it brings with it new hope. New light. It's different light than yesterday. No two days are exactly the same. Today is a new day...in which we can begin again.

Created with palette knives, this beautifully peachy and earthy coastal landscape came to life bringing me warmth and light. It has been framed in a solid oak timber frame to complement the colour harmonies and hues, and has been satin varnished. It will come with a COA like all my work.

Sharon Rynehart is an impressionist palette knife artist widely recognised for her flowing, expressive style of the sea, land and sky. A former Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, Sharon had health issues a while ago that saw her turn to painting for therapy and healing. Transforming her creative practice into what she now calls ‘heartwork’; emotive, hope-fuelled pieces inspired by faith, connective memory and experience, and the beauty of our Australian coastlines and landscapes. Sharon uses her background in colour theory to create original artworks with beautiful colour harmonies that allow you to reflect on your own story; to finish the train of thought, to remember a time or place, and to explore and feel the emotions they instill. Artworks that are relatable, that invite you to reflect, force an exhale, evoke a sense of calm…and bring you hope.

Sharon enjoyed recent success as a Finalist in Art to Art’s acclaimed “Unearthed” Art Prize, and has been fortunate to have several of her artworks featured on Channel 9’s “The Block” TV show. She has also had pieces featured in Grand Designs Australia Magazine. Sharon has gallery representation in both Brisbane and Melbourne and apart from these galleries, her works can be viewed in person tri-annually at the Affordable Art Fairs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Now widely collected both in Australia and Internationally, Sharon’s pieces continue to resonate with many, inspiring calm and connection through an uplifting sense of place and emotion. They are a reminder to always look for light and hope…no matter the trials and challenges we all face.
