Daydreaming Again (framed)

Daydreaming again...of cool aqua waters, pretty pastel skies, and long days at the coast. Of Summer holidays where my kids race to devour rainbow ice cream cones before they melt, candy stripe beach towels on the sand, and tutti fruit coloured beach hats on my girls blowing away as the southerly rises in the afternoons. The dreamy colours and the memories this artwork evokes take me straight back to many a beachside holiday...splashing in the ocean, exploring rocky headlands and pools, and wandering sandy beaches at sunrise and sunset. Holidays to cherish with family and friends. This pretty pastel seascape has me daydreaming again of lots more happy coastal holidays to come.

Created with palette knives on stretched polycotton canvas, it is complemented in a beautiful solid Tas Oak timber frame. It comes satin varnished to preserve the archival quality for many years to come and will come with a COA.

Sharon Rynehart is an impressionist palette knife artist widely recognised for her flowing, expressive style of the sea, land and sky. A former Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, Sharon had health issues a while ago that saw her turn to painting for therapy and healing. Transforming her creative practice into what she now calls ‘heartwork’; emotive, hope-fuelled pieces inspired by faith, connective memory and experience, and the beauty of our Australian coastlines and landscapes. Sharon uses her background in colour theory to create original artworks with beautiful colour harmonies that allow you to reflect on your own story; to finish the train of thought, to remember a time or place, and to explore and feel the emotions they instill. Artworks that are relatable, that invite you to reflect, force an exhale, evoke a sense of calm…and bring you hope.

Sharon enjoyed recent success as a Finalist in Art to Art’s acclaimed “Unearthed” Art Prize, and has been fortunate to have several of her artworks featured on Channel 9’s “The Block” TV show. She has also had pieces featured in Grand Designs Australia Magazine. Sharon has gallery representation in both Brisbane and Melbourne and apart from these galleries, her works can be viewed in person tri-annually at the Affordable Art Fairs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Now widely collected both in Australia and Internationally, Sharon’s pieces continue to resonate with many, inspiring calm and connection through an uplifting sense of place and emotion. They are a reminder to always look for light and hope…no matter the trials and challenges we all face.
