Emerald Isle - On Sale

A stunning alcohol ink original created on a gloss board and edged in raw timber. This vibrant artwork is a fusion of emerald green, turquoise, aqua, subtle mauve and charcoal greys, accented with a mix of metallic gold and brass. It reminded me of a visit to the Isle of Capri and the Blue Grotto - all the lush colours of the green isle and it’s crystal clear aqua and blue waters.

But I also see blooms! Lush foliage climbing over an arbour or fenceline. This stunning statement piece is open to interpretation and will be a focal point in any space.

This has been varnished and UV protected, however should not be hung in direct sunlight so to best preserve the archival quality of the inks.

It has been discreetly signed in a corner and can be hung in any orientation, although I best like the flow and composition of the piece in portrait.

NB: this piece weighs 6 kgs and will require secure hanging on fixed hooks in studs in your wall.

Sharon Rynehart is an impressionist palette knife artist widely recognised for her flowing, expressive style of the sea, land and sky. A former Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, Sharon had health issues a while ago that saw her turn to painting for therapy and healing. Transforming her creative practice into what she now calls ‘heartwork’; emotive, hope-fuelled pieces inspired by faith, connective memory and experience, and the beauty of our Australian coastlines and landscapes. Sharon uses her background in colour theory to create original artworks with beautiful colour harmonies that allow you to reflect on your own story; to finish the train of thought, to remember a time or place, and to explore and feel the emotions they instill. Artworks that are relatable, that invite you to reflect, force an exhale, evoke a sense of calm…and bring you hope.

Sharon enjoyed recent success as a Finalist in Art to Art’s acclaimed “Unearthed” Art Prize, and has been fortunate to have several of her artworks featured on Channel 9’s “The Block” TV show. She has also had pieces featured in Grand Designs Australia Magazine. Sharon has gallery representation in both Brisbane and Melbourne and apart from these galleries, her works can be viewed in person tri-annually at the Affordable Art Fairs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Now widely collected both in Australia and Internationally, Sharon’s pieces continue to resonate with many, inspiring calm and connection through an uplifting sense of place and emotion. They are a reminder to always look for light and hope…no matter the trials and challenges we all face.
