Heartland (Framed)

A large palette knife landscape in warm earthy tones depicting but a mere portion of our vast Australian landscape. Fringed by stoic mountain ranges, the heartlands of our beautiful country are lush open reserves and green fields that lay hidden in low valleys. Bordered by rocky outcrops that hold water after rain, here it's quiet and peaceful. A place to exhale. As the sun starts to sink, the majestic light refracts in all shades of warm pink, yellow and orange. Here, the land meets sky and the result is breathtaking, awe inspiring, rugged but beautiful, pure in essence...heartland.

This expressive landscape warms my heart with it's embracing Autumn tones, rich in colour and texture. It is framed in a solid natural timber frame. It is satin varnished to ensure the archival quality of the artwork for many years to come, and will come with a COA.

Sharon Rynehart is an impressionist palette knife artist widely recognised for her flowing, expressive style of the sea, land and sky. A former Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, Sharon had health issues a while ago that saw her turn to painting for therapy and healing. Transforming her creative practice into what she now calls ‘heartwork’; emotive, hope-fuelled pieces inspired by faith, connective memory and experience, and the beauty of our Australian coastlines and landscapes. Sharon uses her background in colour theory to create original artworks with beautiful colour harmonies that allow you to reflect on your own story; to finish the train of thought, to remember a time or place, and to explore and feel the emotions they instill. Artworks that are relatable, that invite you to reflect, force an exhale, evoke a sense of calm…and bring you hope.

Sharon enjoyed recent success as a Finalist in Art to Art’s acclaimed “Unearthed” Art Prize, and has been fortunate to have several of her artworks featured on Channel 9’s “The Block” TV show. She has also had pieces featured in Grand Designs Australia Magazine. Sharon has gallery representation in both Brisbane and Melbourne and apart from these galleries, her works can be viewed in person tri-annually at the Affordable Art Fairs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Now widely collected both in Australia and Internationally, Sharon’s pieces continue to resonate with many, inspiring calm and connection through an uplifting sense of place and emotion. They are a reminder to always look for light and hope…no matter the trials and challenges we all face.
