Intrinsic

Intrinsic means “belonging naturally”. This stunning immersion of earthy nature inspired alcohol inks and shimmering gold seamlessly and naturally evolved into this beautiful cascading artwork. Reminiscent of a giant flower and foliage, it is a truly captivating and intrinsic piece that can be framed to hang in any orientation. Shifting tone in light, it is a gorgeous kaleidoscope of greens, olives, blush, blue, pink, coffee and chartreuse. It is created on heavyweight Yupo paper, varnished and UV protected, and will require framing. You may choose from a selection above, or purchase it unframed.

NB: Mat and frame are NOT INCLUDED. The pics of it insitu are for display purposes only, to give you an idea of how it can look framed. I always recommend framing with museum or UV protectant glass to best preserve the archival quality of the inks. Inks may fade over time if they are hung in a position where direct sunlight is cast, unless framed under protective UV or museum glass.

Sharon Rynehart is an impressionist palette knife artist widely recognised for her flowing, expressive style of the sea, land and sky. A former Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, Sharon had health issues a while ago that saw her turn to painting for therapy and healing. Transforming her creative practice into what she now calls ‘heartwork’; emotive, hope-fuelled pieces inspired by faith, connective memory and experience, and the beauty of our Australian coastlines and landscapes. Sharon uses her background in colour theory to create original artworks with beautiful colour harmonies that allow you to reflect on your own story; to finish the train of thought, to remember a time or place, and to explore and feel the emotions they instill. Artworks that are relatable, that invite you to reflect, force an exhale, evoke a sense of calm…and bring you hope.

Sharon enjoyed recent success as a Finalist in Art to Art’s acclaimed “Unearthed” Art Prize, and has been fortunate to have several of her artworks featured on Channel 9’s “The Block” TV show. She has also had pieces featured in Grand Designs Australia Magazine. Sharon has gallery representation in both Brisbane and Melbourne and apart from these galleries, her works can be viewed in person tri-annually at the Affordable Art Fairs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Now widely collected both in Australia and Internationally, Sharon’s pieces continue to resonate with many, inspiring calm and connection through an uplifting sense of place and emotion. They are a reminder to always look for light and hope…no matter the trials and challenges we all face.
