Meet Me At Sunset

A canopy of beautiful hot pinks, warm rose, golden peach and fiery orange - all the colours of the sunset blazened across the sky, accented with shimmering metallic gold, reminiscent of the sun's golden rays as the last sun sets on a warm summer's day.

This vibrant piece has been created on heavyweight Yupo paper, varnished and UV Protected, but should be framed using museum or UV protectant glass, to best preserve the archival quality of the inks.

NB: This alcohol ink piece has a teeny pink dot in the white negative space which I'm happy to dot out with white paint pen if it's an issue for you. See pics. Just let me know in messenger. I actually love it and thought the random splatter on my paper resembled a beauty spot!

Also, the bottom right white corner and edge has some wrinkling in the paper, which once framed would be covered with a mat mount and unseen, or it can be trimmed off by your framer to a finished size that works best for you. As such, this piece is listed at a special price. (Usually $590 for this style and size).

Sharon Rynehart is an impressionist palette knife artist widely recognised for her flowing, expressive style of the sea, land and sky. A former Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, Sharon had health issues a while ago that saw her turn to painting for therapy and healing. Transforming her creative practice into what she now calls ‘heartwork’; emotive, hope-fuelled pieces inspired by faith, connective memory and experience, and the beauty of our Australian coastlines and landscapes. Sharon uses her background in colour theory to create original artworks with beautiful colour harmonies that allow you to reflect on your own story; to finish the train of thought, to remember a time or place, and to explore and feel the emotions they instill. Artworks that are relatable, that invite you to reflect, force an exhale, evoke a sense of calm…and bring you hope.

Sharon enjoyed recent success as a Finalist in Art to Art’s acclaimed “Unearthed” Art Prize, and has been fortunate to have several of her artworks featured on Channel 9’s “The Block” TV show. She has also had pieces featured in Grand Designs Australia Magazine. Sharon has gallery representation in both Brisbane and Melbourne and apart from these galleries, her works can be viewed in person tri-annually at the Affordable Art Fairs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Now widely collected both in Australia and Internationally, Sharon’s pieces continue to resonate with many, inspiring calm and connection through an uplifting sense of place and emotion. They are a reminder to always look for light and hope…no matter the trials and challenges we all face.
