'Romantique' def: french word for romantic. These botanicals I create in my signature colours and style all take on their own persona evoking different moods and vibes, and 'romance' was the word that sprung to mind as I was bringing this new one to life.
Soft, dreamy beautiful blooms dancing slowly in a gentle breeze, emerging new and full of life in Spring after a cold, long, dark winter...a metaphor for a new romance yes, but also life generally. Sometimes we have to go through hard, difficult, dark times, but in those times, we're learning courage, strength, resilience, patience; just waiting for the right time we flourish once again...with fresh new hope.
This abstract botanical is created with palette knives on artist quality cotton stretched canvas, and framed in a solid tas oak frame. There is an optional white timber frame also available. Message me if you’d prefer the white for the same cost. It has been satin varnished, and comes with a COA.
