Seeking to awaken the senses and evoke the mood of a coastal southerly at dusk, this pretty and colourful artwork has me anticipating a balmy Summer ahead. I can almost smell the salty breeze, feel the sand between my toes, and hear the ocean waves as they break against shoreline.
Lush headlands in the foreground provide needed calm of quiet greens against the tempest blues with a splash of lilac in the dusk sky as day’s end approaches.
Seeking Salt, Sand and Sea. When you can’t get there in reality…it’s here in this artwork you can exhale.
Created with palette knives on 12 oz stretched polycotton, this expressive beachscape is framed in a whitewash timber oak frame. It has been satin varnished, and will come with a COA.

NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone and textures of my work, which is more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space.
