Sorbets and Sunsets - SALE PRICE

I had a vivid memory that popped into mind while working on this one; it was a summer holiday years ago involving an idyllic sinking sunset, melting sorbet cones, our little girls building sand castles, and little rock pools at the end of a South Coast beach we'd been exploring.

This original alcohol ink piece on yupo paper is a dreamy immersion of those memories. Pools of aqua, fuchsia, coral, lilac, warm lavender, pink, peach and accented with metallic gold that comes to life when it catches the light.

UV protected and varnished, this piece is unframed and requires framing, preferably under UV glass for ideal archival protection. I have shown options in my pics of a black edged ivory mount, and framed in white, however it would work beautifully in any colour frame.

The piece is a little bigger than A2 size and could be framed back to suit A2.

Sharon Rynehart is an impressionist palette knife artist widely recognised for her flowing, expressive style of the sea, land and sky. A former Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, Sharon had health issues a while ago that saw her turn to painting for therapy and healing. Sharon enjoyed recent success as a Finalist in Art to Art’s acclaimed “Unearthed” Art Prize, and has been fortunate to have several of her artworks featured on Channel 9’s “The Block” TV show. She has also had pieces featured in Grand Designs Australia Magazine. Sharon has gallery representation in both Brisbane and Melbourne and apart from these galleries, her works can be viewed in person tri-annually at the Affordable Art Fairs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Now widely collected both in Australia and Internationally, Sharon’s pieces continue to resonate with many, inspiring calm and connection through an uplifting sense of place and emotion. They are a reminder to always look for light and hope…no matter the trials and challenges we all face.
