Artwork Description

"Not every moment is loud with meaning. Some arrive in the in between...unannounced, unassuming, less intentional, but just as powerful.

So to here. The space between tides; between the pull of what was, and the promise of what will be. Where water softens it's edges and the moody sky holds both shadow and light without having to choose.  Both are meaningful. Both have purpose.

Here, in the breaths in between, all we need do is pause...

to feel what lingers,
to honour what aches,
to notice hope gently returning.

Where hearts find rhythm again,
where pace isn't rushed,
and where healing begins...

not in grand obvious gestures, but in the small and steady, patient and sure, breaths in between."

Created with palette knives on high grade artist quality canvas, this bold and powerful artwork is framed in solid Oak timber and comes satin varnished. It will come with a COA with the artist statement written on the back.

Artist Bio

“…painting stories evoking light and hope.”

Sharon Rynehart is an impressionist palette knife artist widely recognised for her flowing, expressive style of the sea, land and sky. A former Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, Sharon had health issues a while ago that saw her turn to painting for therapy and healing. Transforming her creative practice into what she now calls ‘heartwork’; emotive, hope-fuelled pieces inspired by faith, connective memory and experience, and the beauty of our Australian coastlines and landscapes. Sharon uses her background in colour theory to create original artworks with beautiful colour harmonies that allow you to reflect on your own story; to finish the train of thought, to remember a time or place, and to explore and feel the emotions they instill. Artworks that are relatable, that invite you to reflect, force an exhale, evoke a sense of calm…and bring you hope.

Sharon enjoyed recent success as a Finalist in Art to Art’s acclaimed “Unearthed” Art Prize, and has been fortunate to have several of her artworks featured on Channel 9’s “The Block” TV show. She has also had pieces featured in Grand Designs Australia Magazine. Sharon has gallery representation in both Brisbane and Melbourne and apart from these galleries, her works can be viewed in person tri-annually at the Affordable Art Fairs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Now widely collected both in Australia and Internationally, Sharon’s pieces continue to resonate with many, inspiring calm and connection through an uplifting sense of place and emotion. They are a reminder to always look for light and hope…no matter the trials and challenges we all face.
