Time alone...to ponder, to reflect, to grieve, to heal, to nurture...to grow. We all need time alone. As much as I love being around family and friends, time on my own is cherished and it is here in the quieter moments alone I find new hope and new strength. Strength to face whatever life decides to throw at me next. And recently it's been a hurricane.
I can't help but draw a parallel to single blooms, despite the elements they face, and regardless of how many other flowers surround them, they all bloom individually, at their own pace...each one slightly different according to how they weather the storms. This breezy abstract botanical is reminiscent of these thoughts.
Created with palette knives on artist quality canvas, it is framed in a white woodgrain float frame, satin varnished and will come with a COA.
