Here is where I can breathe again. Evoking quiet contentment, peaceful reflection, and a burst of happy, the coast lifts my spirits, invites stillness and calm, and offers hope when needed most. This artwork does the same.
The lone sail boat in the distance is reminiscent of leaving worries and cares behind, with vast waters ahead in which to embrace new adventures and boundless opportunities. The headlands signal a safe harbour on its return, where the turquoise and aqua waters of the bays and inlets offer shelter and protection. Soothing my senses, evoking calm...the beautiful colours of the coast, and the wonder and awe of a rising or sinking sun over water, is where I can breathe again.
Created with palette knives on 12 oz stretched cotton canvas, this beautiful coastscape is framed in a solid oak timber frame. It comes satin varnished and with a COA.
Thank you for pausing to view "Where I Can Breathe Again". I hope it allows you to do the same.
NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone and textures of my work, which is more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space.
